Amida's Education creates an active, private environment for exploration without fear of failure, without the fear of doing wrong, without requiring a tutor and without the sense of humiliation. The emphasis is on learning-by-doing, rather than passively receiving information from textbooks.
Unlike desktop computers, Amida unobtrusively sits in the palm of a child. It does not demand attention; it simple integrates itself into the child's environment. Its novel interface makes it simple to use, and allows direct manipulation of objects, be they planets, projectiles or mirrors.
In Amida's Education feature, the focus is on learning the underlying principles, and not ritualistically cramming facts. That way, lessons once learnt by a child stay with them for life, rather than till the next exam.

Interactive Lessons in Education
We (and our partners) are working to bring you more lessons, but for the moment your Amida will have:
- Space: How far are the 9 planets from the Sun? How long does sunlight take to reach each of the planets?
- Gravity: How does gravity differ on the planets? Children find out through an interactive projectile-shooting game
- Light: Helps the child solve the mysteries of refraction
